| John & Gill Lewis & family extend a warm welcome to all. Mile Bank Farm bed and breakfast accommodation is a comfortable, self-contained independent dwelling which has been thoughtfully converted and furnished to the highest standards of quality, taste and style. It provides a unique opportunity to stay within the heart of the beautiful North Shropshire countryside. Mile Bank Farm is 1 mile from the historic town of Whitchurch where there are plenty of lovely pubs, places for eating out, golf course, rally school, parachute centre, fishing, narrowboats on the Llangollen canal and for walkers, we are very close to the Sandstone trail. Whitchurch is 15-20 miles commuting distance to Chester, Shrewsbury, Telford, Crewe and Wrexham. There is also very good public transport and a train station approximately 1 1/4 miles from Mile Bank | |||||||

| The double/family bedrooms and the twin bedrooms all have en-suite toilet/bath/shower, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers, alarm clock radios and colour televisions as standard, plus many thoughtful extras. One of the twin rooms has a walk in shower room suitable for the disabled. A cot is available on request. | |||||||

| The lounge looks out onto open fields as well as the courtyard, has a colour television and is for the sole use of guests throughout their stay. Traditional full English breakfast is served in the breakfast room where there are French doors leading to a patio with garden furniture for guests to use. All guests are offered tea and home made cakes on arrival. | |||||||

 Wheelchair user access. There is level access across a concreted yard into the reception area. The bedroom has twin beds with sufficient underneath access for a portable hoist and the furniture can be arranged to allow transfer to either side of the bed. There is a spacious en-suite shower room with a shower stool, a separate support frame and room to side transfer to the toilet. In addition there is a separate comfortable sitting room for guests use and an accessible toilet in the reception area. Breakfast is served in the adjoining dining room with views across the surrounding countryside. This could be suitable for both unaccompanied and accompanied wheelchair users. | We've just added caravanning facilities at the farm and have gained certificated site status with the Camping and Caravanning Club. We'll add more information and pictures here when we get a chance - but for now, you can find information about the facilities we offer at the Clubs' own website here | |||||||
| Animal lovers are especially welcome at Mile Bank to pamper our many pets. Lambing takes place at the farm between the months February - April. | |||||||
